Oh I totally missed that the people coming would be non-hunters. If any friends offer to pack out (we've had some epic hauls) we always offer meat in exchange for the help. If they're vegetarians then you should rescind the invite ;p- ammo

I use orange with the metal top part. Really any of the oranges have worked well. Husband uses reds and I sound like a dying seagull when I have tried his.- ammo

Can you make the form itself ~4-5" shorter? Getting some scrap pelt seems like a bad idea because it will never match and you'll always look at it begrudgingly even if it does end up matching.- ammo

Hunt Talker 2023 Fitness Goals
I've done the GT twice in the winter. If that ever becomes your brand of crazy I highly recommend! It is a SCENE. The words "brush creek" to this day still make me want to puke a little bit. I'll likely do it one more time when I find a partner that will also do it with me again on skate skis.- ammo

My pup is curled up at my feet right now as I type this Brian so I'm sending you good doggo vibes and hope Rigby is not in too much pain. Snaring small game in the US?
Now that #tagweek is through any advice here? I did a deep dive into WY / MT / UT and they all require a 300lb release device on a snare thus making it more complicated than a wire/survival snare line. Pic for attention:- ammo
