This is a great volunteer event - a weekend of fence work that improves pronghorn access across the Kiowa Grasslands. You get to see some check out pronghorn habitat, engage with other hunters as well as agency folks, and learn some of the history of Mills Canyon. See link below for more...
If you're finding bedding sites I think you're on the right track! I was going to head back out for the statewide OTC tag, but it looks like they've sold out for the year so it's looking like I'm done until next Feb.
This guy does a few tracking videos that I found helpful. The desert he's in...
Where I thought I would find javelina ---
Where I actually found javelina ---
These little dudes are way more challenging in New Mexico than I thought. I spent a few days glassing these perfect desert vistas in an area where I've seen tracks and I still couldn't find where they were...
fourteen first 'posts' in less than an hour? this is either a well known HT alt-account about to come in with a banger of a troll post or someone looking for honey holes.

So I'm 5' 10", 180 pounds, and I don't feel straps cut into me when I'm wearing it in a t-shirt. While hunting, I usually have it on over a jacket and it definitely doesn't cut. I keep binos, rangefinder, and windchecker in the pouches. Sometimes I'll slide in a full size 9mm behind the...
I picked up the sitka and I don't hate it, I like it overall. I rifle hunt, and it's a lot to have on your chest but everything is easy to access and no magnets. There's even a sleeve behind the binos for a sidearm. Only fits 10x42 binos though.
Elk/Antelope/Deer/Javi/Oryx. I think I'm done with the elk unit I've been hunting, I drew it twice and been blow'ed out by outfitters both times. I'm going to aim a little higher this year and see what happens. Unit is loaded with deer though, so it's still country I would go back to...
