Male vs female dogs
I've always had female dogs but got a male lab puppy this Summer. He's been the most mellow well behaved dog I've ever had. No humping or pee marking anything. Great with the neighbor kids and other dogs. The male Corgi puppy we got around the same time is a little butthole though.- 454

Examples of elk absorbing shots and not acting hit?
I put three 180 Swift A-Frames from a 300 Weatherby right behind and into the shoulder of a bull at 320 yards. He just kept his head down feeding. I started fiddling with my scope questioning whether or not I was actually hitting him then suddenly he fell over. -

.308win 130gr ttsx ?
I've got a Winchester Extreme Weather 308 with a 1-12 barrel. It shoots 130 Barnes very well. It also performed great with 150 Barnes but I opted for the little bit of extra speed and stuck with 130's.- 454

Red Dot/Holographic for AR
Two Iraq deployments as a 19d with Aimpoints and Acogs. Never had an issue with either. I did see some Eotechs lose zero a couple times for no known reason. Working in retail now, I hear the least complaints about Holosun and rarely see them returned.- 454

Things dogs eat …
Mine are currently eating apples and tomatoes from the backyard trees and garden. Greener the better I guess because they won't touch the red ones. The neighbor kid gets $5 a day to rake them all up but it's a lost cause I think.- 454
