Hard to tell the difference between SFW and RMEF these days.

You sure made an eye catching title for your post. However, I think you are comparing apples to baseballs by comparing the two organizations. I just watched a pretty good video put together by the RMEF. It's on the forced reintroduction effort, in Colorado. Are you for this forced reintroduction?

BLM wilderness study area in Wyoming

Hmm, sounds like I struck a nerve. So, which one are you? A fool, or a Wyoming resident? Its real simple to understand. I think most folks around here get it. Over 99% of the hunters in America are locked out of, almost 3 million acres of wilderness in Wyoming. Why on earth would a hunter from...

BLM wilderness study area in Wyoming

Only a fool or Wyoming resident, would want WSA's designated wilderness.

How crowded is it? (otc CO)

You will likely see quite a few people. Like NC2 said, after about 2 days people thin out fast. I'll never complain about being able to prowl the high country with pack and rifle every year.

    What's on the smoker today?

When you have a chain link fence with three strands of barbed wire on top, I'd say you have the best barbeque in town.

    Uncommon Elk Bull

Cool bull. I suspect the first time he locks up with another bull, he wont look so impressive.

Christmas celebration, Christmas tree, Christmas decorations

Growing up, I always enjoyed cutting our family Christmas tree. I liked it so much, that I started my own tree farm. Every year, 350-400 families come to our place to pick their perfect tree. We have carts and saws to take into the fields. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate when you return...

Does Wyoming's new elk results date change your plans?

Yes, the early Wyoming draw results, have always dictated where else I apply for the year. I can only afford to do one hunt a year. So, Wyoming will likely get a pass.

Bergara B14 Or other Sub 700 dollar rifles

I’ve got a B14 Ridge in 7mm Rem mag. It was initially an average shooter. Turns out it is extremely sensitive to seating depth. After getting that figured out, it now shoots clover leafs. By far the most accurate rifle I’ve owned.

    OTC Snow

We did well. We both shot bulls. I had cow tag that didn’t get filled. The highlight was hundreds of deer migrating past our camp. It was hard to believe.
