100% - Went 6 for 6 on my WY, MT, and WY draws. First time using / subscriber to GoHUNT; very happy with my experience to say the least!
The amount of time I wasted in 2020 vs the time I was able to spend in 2021 was definitely worth it for me. Additionally-didn’t put in for the Special Draw in...
You all have given me a lot to think about. I’d agree with others - it’s watching the landscape “wake up” and the anticipation that accompanies shooting light unfolding over the side of a mountain.
I might “reward” myself with a good hot meal at a local diner in the closest town; great place to run into other hunters and share the experience.
I don’t drink / smoke. As others have said in various ways - I thank the animal, reflect on the experience, focus on the work at hand, getting the...

“Randy’s Rules of Thumb”
Weather, clothing selection, choosing units with xx% public land, etc. I’ve picked up nuggets through all the years listening to you but I’m sure you have some Randy principles that you haven’t discussed yet.
There’s no shortcuts - don’t compare your public land hunt to their “public land hunt” which may have take decade(s) to build points for. Pursue what makes YOU happy with the time you have - not what’s popular on social media. You’ll be happier and more grateful with the results.
Yes, but I would have very low expectations of filling that tag. HEAVILY pressured unit. Go Hunt might help you find other options with better/more access and higher success rates.
@TOGIE @FeartheTurtle I tried to get back in there last weekend - can confirm it’s still closed; tried to access from multiple entry points. Might open up June 1st based on the signage
