I’ve only seen increases in accuracy personally. Usually tames barrel whip and reduces recoil and muzzle blast.
With that said - I’d take a 1 MOA suppressed rifle over a 1/2 MOA ear blaster all day long.
Also posted on Rokslide where I have lots of feedback.
Bought this last year from cameraland and am now switching over to MILs. My loss...
Everything is in perfect shape, just light range use. Comes with everything you'd get brand new including stickers, tools, lens wipe (unused).

Spoiler: it won’t be 7 days
SC generally waits a couple weeks to send the letter, then another couple of weeks to ensure 7 business days after receipt. It’s a month if you bug them in my experience (4 through them).
Do you usually get your original barrel back? I have only had two Tikkas rebarrelled to non-factory calibers, and the first one I used a local gunsmith that handed me my OEM barrel back when I picked up my rifle. Recently sent a rifle out of state and this time no barrel? It was a brand new...
I recommend listening to the Hornady podcast - they have several episodes that dive into what matters and what doesn't, and why what you think you observe may not be solid info.
I get 10 round sub-0.6 MOA groups with double digit SD's. What matters more?
It would be a shame if you purchased a new one and accidentally mixed them up, returning the defective one. Surely the working-class should shoulder the shortcomings of a billion dollar behemoth, as it's the right thing to do.
Did you ever reach out to Browning? Not sure how they handle these things, or if they have an accuracy guarantee but it doesn't hurt to ask. Either have them take a look, have a gunsmith spin on a new barrel (after also taking a look) or send it down the road.
I had a Bergarbage 300 win mag...
If there was a middle-of-the-road, level-headed, meritocratic candidate that appealed to the majority of Americans, then a 3rd party candidate could win. I was BEGGING for a reasonable candidate since 2016, but we got Gary Johnson and now RFK. The DNC and GOP corporations will control Red and...
Personal attacks - classy move!
Elon musk is also a formerly bright engineer turned insufferable megalomaniac.
I never said I was Pro-pollution or that RFK is wrong about wanting to stop corporate pillaging of our ecosystem. I also have zero financial stake in any power generating industry. I...
Well I didn't feel the need to get into the nitty-gritty about a conspiracy fueled twit that grew up in an insanely tumultuous silver-spoon world. He oversimplifies the complexities of policy and has made a career out of being a lawyer - i.e. finding technicalities to latch onto instead of...
I just shot my Backcountry. Noticeably more recoil and noise than my banish gold, obviously. Recoil actually surprised me...
There's a good YouTube comparison of the Scythe and based on that I'd go Scythe all day long.
Do you reload? Expect about 2500fps from factory 143/147 gr ammo. I'm getting close to 2670fps from my 18" Tikka with reloads near the top end of acceptable pressure.
Meh. I like both sites. Classifieds and sheer level of activity of RS draw me to waste more time on that site.
It's a private website and they list very clear rules about threadcrapping classifieds. Free speech isn't the issue - you're welcome to go outside and yell at clouds. Buyers should do...
I soak the baffles in Zep brand CLR, but with non-serviceable cans like my Backcountry I think I'll need to come up with a way to plug the muzzle and fill it with CLR since the Cerakote will get destroyed by CLR, or so they say...
I've been using the same regular AA battery for a couple weeks worth of hunting. Practically a non-issue. If the battery dies they just become OK binos with a narrower field of view, not a show stopper. And they do make tripod adapters for them.
