Public Lands causing Loss of Sleep
Everyone I speak with here in AL, I bring this issue up. A great local example - TVA could make hundreds of millions with the riverfront land they have in North AL - giving those lands up would mean we can't do this: My wife and tiny girl hunting partner will be chasing pronghorn very soon...- Sapper.dawg

My cooker is a two-burner Camp Chef...cant remember the exact model number. It has worked fine for all types of cooking, and I use it often. Venison sausage turned out great, I think due to the lower fat content and more coarse grind. It still had a firmness to it, and was not fall apart tender. The commerical pork sausage was was very mushy and would not have held up in a biscuit. I will be canning more homemade sausage patties...- Sapper.dawg

Pressure Canning Venison and Sausage Patties
1 tsp canning salt for the raw pack venison was all I put in the jars tested here. I did some raw packed wild hog along with this, and put 1 tsp canning salt and 1/4 tsp BBQ seasoning - but have not tried those out yet. I would put a bit less salt in the venison pints next time, probably go...- Sapper.dawg

We have owned one for several years now, and find it beyond useful. Biggest drawback is using the remote arrows to enter your search term. Take a long time and lots of mistakes....I know you can get a Bluetooth keyboard, but we don't have one. I tried just using "OYOA" in YouTube search...- Sapper.dawg
