Congrats to you guys on two really nice bucks and what has to be a memorable hunt. The photos of the country leave me speechless, I hope to see it in person some day.
Anxious to see the episode!
Exactly!
We have been involved in brownfield/ superfund sites too and it amazes me how the rules can change from job to job. Almost like they are setting a trap. Our local office, as I am sure many do, obtain most of their funding through fines.
I'm with others here. I don't understand...
Congress for one.
The Federal level or appointees report to Mr. Obama.... or whoever is president.
Most importantly US!
It will be swept under the rug just like the oil spills are.
You are right!
We only brought a couple of pieces that were finely split up, but it will be a thing of the past going forward.
Thank you for bringing it to my/ our attention. We certainly would not want to cause any further damage... you guys have enough of that.

I deal with the EPA locally fairly regularly regarding asbestos and universal waste. As a demolition contractor we are held to very strict regulations and processes to ensure we do not contaminate land fills or adjacent...
After several years of hauling a heavy homemade stove 1400 miles we finally bought one from Wall Tent Shop. It is called wilderness stove and comes in three sizes.
We bought the #4 for our tent which I believe is 16x20. It does a nice job keeping a fire overnight. We do, however, bring along...
+1
I wish I could think of something I wasn't good at..... in my mind anyway.
I seem to have a problem finishing projects. Lets see.... right now I am building a bow (I have one side of one limb whittled in the direction its supposed to go), reloading my rifle ammo, building a dog kennel/ end...
I wouldn't be ashamed to take any of them.... I do agree however that another year or two would make them something special. Problem is you cant convince other hunters in the area to pass on them. Sometimes that can help make a decision.
Good luck, keep us updated along your journey.
I have two Burris scopes. They are about 7 years old I think. I have to say that for the money I am impressed. I also have two Leupold's and yes I can tell the difference but I am very happy with the Burris scopes I have.
My vote is don't turn it down, sounds like a really good deal.
I would also like to thank you for your service..... THANK YOU!
I don't have a military background but I applaud those who do.
As far as not having anything to contribute, don't feel that way, sure you do. I was a little shy at first, but this forum is full of people who actually care and...
lol.... yes! Not everyone likes pro football. My only problem with the SEC is the media is always blowing them up..... was happy to see Ohio State put it to Alabama and Saben. It was time for someone else to be on top.
I will buy that! The first game of the year always makes me nervous and when I saw we were paired with the Bills my stomach sort of churned. We never play well leading off the season, but then again any team can beat you if you are not prepared.
Defense is a concern, however the year the...
Just about time for football.
I'll probably get slammed for this but I'm a colts fan.....more so a football fan though. I was a lay coach at the HS level for several years and loved it. Love the competition. ... went to Purdue but have no issue rooting for Ohio State now that I live here (not...
Sorry to say I had the same problem.... partitions too.
Someone will help I'm sure but I was disappointed to say the least.
I was trying 160's and just couldn't tune them in. I'm no expert though so don't give up on my account.
I may try again as I have several left.
I'm trying to get...
Can't believe I've never had one. I will for certain tho.
I agree with buzz that a pan full of walleye trumps them all..... only while scoring an antelope rack in the garage though ......lol
I too like the squashes fried but didn't plant any this year so it's store bought for that episode...
I have an old Traditions muzzle loader .50 cal carbine that I want to repair and hunt with again. It is kind of like a T/C Renegade. Very good shooting gun.
Anyway, I got it out last season to clean it and realized the trigger was broken. Must have happened somewhere along the line when I...
I have lost two. My father who introduced me to hunting, trapping and other outdoor activities passed when I was a sophomore in college. Obviously that was tough and still is 23 years later. He was there when I arrowed my first buck and helped me not only process it but taught me how to skin...
Anyone else like fried green tomatoes? One of my favorite summer treats. I pan fried some over charcoal and deep fried the rest. Prefer the pan fried variety. :hump:
Im in the market myself. Been using a Cabela's Alaskan Frame Pack for 15 years.... Tried on a few medium grade packs over the weekend and cant believe the difference. What a piece of crap! I cant wait to get my hands on a MR
