That surprises me..... I figured they are the trend.
Guess I'm mostly looking for something different and better based on HT folks recommendations.
Struggling with repeating weights and oh yeah my eye sight isn't so good anymore.
What do you use mtmuley?
OK fellas.. I've had it with my Lee safety powder scale and i am ready to upgrade to digital.
You guys have way more experience than I so your thoughts and recommendations would be well received.
Ready to buy tomorrow!
Here is a good study on antelope meat handling. Page five offers the findings of aging. Probably still a matter of preference however, so take it for what it is worth.

I hear you on feeling under prepared. I have had most of my gear staged in the basement since the first weekend of August along with my two page checklist. Nearly every evening I go down there and look things over again "just to make sure".

Hey Jeff,
Just letting you know I am coming home on Aug 29th to do some shooting and planning for our elk hunt. Not sure how things are going to work out timing wise but we might be able to hook up for a minute and chat or grab a beer if you want.
If you are interested I will PM my contact info...
Agreed.... we use a combo of this and unscented baby wipes. Don't like the idea of hauling water. Your setup looks nice though.
A shower (and a pizza) in a hotel room half way home sure is inviting.
You also asked about what to take with you. This list is fairly complete.... not everything is necessary but you can pick and choose what you want to include.
