I have read through some of the threads on GPS units and now I think I would like to upgrade mine. It is only 4 years old but a basic unit that is not map capable. I would like to be able to get the OnXmaps system as well because next year I will be hunting OTC units that I am not familiar...
One of my true soft spots. We lost two in the last 10 months a lab and a golden. We had to put Oliver, the golden, down last May and I cried like a baby... hate it.

That's true, but college pays off in the end. I remember skipping classes to go hunt and ending up with a not-so-good grade report that semester.
Best to tend to your studies now so you can afford to do as much hunting as you want later.
