We are supposed to leave next Tuesday problem is this smallish hurricane is about to hit us here in Florida. Can't leave until I make sure my kids, friends and house are in one piece plus the additional thousands of people on the road headed the direction we need to go. We are being told to...
My wife was having these symptoms and it ended up being a gall bladder. We had the paramedics at the house and I was ready to have her committed until a friend asked us about her having the gall bladder tested. She had it removed and the symptoms are vastly improved and yet I still want her...
We have to start watching Irma to see what it will do to our travel plans next week. Everyone be safe out there. We hit the road on the 13th for our 28 hour road trip.
Even though it is a general unit, 1 point may not be enough. More and more people are applying for Wyoming, especially the general units. There is always a chance with the random draw though.
Hopefully someone on here can give us some insight. This is our first elk hunt and we will be road camping. We have seven areas identified so far with two of those being forest service camp ground. Aside from those two, what is the normal etiquette for distance between camps? I do not want...
We are right there with you except me and my wife are headed to Colorado. So we have twice as much stuff !!!Also we will be there in 28 days if we hit no traffic issues. 28 hours of driving that will probably take 30 that I am not looking forward to! Good luck to all and safe travels!
I just had the string replaced after I noticed some fraying around the peep. I was shooting great groups out to 60 yards and now I am bringing it back to the shop. I cannot place my finger on what has happened but the string, sights and rest are all in line by my eyes. I used to be able to see...
Put a ruffi in Corey Jacobson's drink and take him with you:rolleyes:
I guess I can be serious for a moment and tell you that I listened/watched YouTube videos of good callers and then record myself on my phone trying to mimic them. I am fair enough that a tone deaf mule might respond.
Be careful if that eco boost motor. The mileage is horrendous when towing anything on flat ground that we have here in the South East. I couldn't imagine what it would be like through mountains and hills.
Mine took a down turn these last few days. We have has a lot of conferences this summer and that really makes it hard when you are not at home. I was able to hit the treadmills at the hotel. 15% incline for 30 minutes. Went 1.5 miles horizontally and 900 feet vertical and that is a huge...
As my name states,I am a Plumber and a contractor and will tell you those insta-heats (tankless water heaters) are outstanding. Unfortunately like most of our technology here, they have been used in Europe for over a decade. We are very slow to adapt here.
I had the montec g5 stainless steel and I could not get them sharp enough. I watched youtube videos and I admit I am not a metal smith and just couldn't find the correct angle.
Guys I truly wish you both the best of luck. As a Navy veteran who put in 10 years 2 months and 15 days (but who is counting) and being deployed over 8 of those years, it is great to see how the two of you are making the most of your duty stations. Myself and the wife are Colorado bound in 68...
Please leave all the GPS coordinates to the sweet stinky that you found in the milk crate. It washed away during our recent floods here and Florida and went upstream. Also, get my can of sunkist that I left out there.
Just wanted to know if anyone here uses this app over a traditional GPS? I have used it on my hikes through our local woods and it is pretty accurate and since we will be truck camping the battery drain shouldn't be an issue but I did buy 2 of those usb rechargables.
Come on CPO and LAelkhunter, you know its 110% humidity by 6:00AM and then the mosquito's, yellow flies and horse flies fire up to make a pleasant 3 mile excursion seem like 300.
