Look for a hi lo. They are awesome plus get good gas mileage when you are pulling it since it lowers down to the height of the truck. We have 4 in our family and it is perfect. It is 22'.
sit and glass some clearings like was mentioned. I was able to get very close to a lot of bears in that unit. I had a young brown one come down to the house every night. Drove my lab nuts but he didn't mind.
I used to work in those units and spend lots of time observing bears. Don't be to anxious to get out there. Usually early in the hunt bears are few and far between. (obviously depending on weather etc.) Start as high as you are able then work lower. Lots of neat colors in those units. A few...
I was in a store today and they had an AR sitting on the shelf with a price tag of $1799.00 This exact gun was for sale at the exact same store pre-bull&*it hitting the fan for $949.00
Sure do. Lived in Pocatello for a while; I was glad to make the move to IF. I hunt some pretty good property in Firth and Springfield (if you know where that is). I also have had some good young farm boys work for me from Firth as well. Sure is nice to be able to find a good worker now a days.
Word of advice...These suspenders can fail. In our department we went out and all jumped out into water and had one fail for some reason...?-the other that did not inflate had a co2 cartridge that did not seat properly? They are nice to wear. But I don't wear them in water where serious...
I have the Champion 3500w generator from Cabelas and love it. I can barely hear it inside of my trailer when it is running behind my truck. Put quite a few hours on it in Wyoming this year and it never failed. I was able to pick it up on sale at cabelas for under $300 on sale
I am looking at putting in for cow elk in Wyoming probably units 90 or 94 somewhere close to home here in Idaho. Anyone know anything about these units for the young cow wapiti? There seems to be great public access-Is there a lot of pressure during the cow season...? any other info besides your...
Wyoming- sometimes I think so. Just have to break them in the right way. I have a buddy with the same truck and he gets less than I do. You must have been driving a bum 5.3. I have never had a problem with power and have driven lots of 5.3s. Then we had to go to little v6 fords for work.
my work gives me a ford w/a v-6 I average 21-23 mpg per month. This is the only good thing about it. It is a year and a half old and been in the shop more than my 05 GMC Sierra with the 5.3 and 130 thousand miles. Oh and I get 18-22mpg on the hwy with it (actually got 30 once with a good tail...
Awesome. We are still waiting for our first elk as well. Received a bit of snow today but not enough to push the elk anywhere and I don't feel like walking into a hell hole for a cow but if the snow doesn't come I just may have to do it. Great Elk!
haha rabbit! it sure looks like a deer but the size is consistent with a jack rabbit. Great harvest-sure will taste good! I have shot a few of those in my time-cut it with a fork.
haha yeah but I was really hoping we would draw. Never got to hunt with him yet just working by his side every once in a while so I was excited for the experience. Hopefully next year brings us luck.
