Personally, my odds are awsome in MT Elk having 3 PP. Overall though with all the law changes, worse. I am hopeful that WY can fall in line with the rest of the west an get that 90/10 thing worked out for my future hunting plans. I would like to still be able to hunt somwthing nice there in a...
Agrees to help a fellow NR hunter in a far off state achieve a "dream hunt". She is selfless and will go the extra mile for a once in a lifetime experience.
I will discuss it with the wife. We are overdue to visit family in Phoenix so you may be in luck. I have a travel trailer, glass and two people who may be able to help for a week. Visiting the Grand Canyon area is on her list of things to do so I know how to "sell it" to her. LOL
Just finished drilling the first new well in the GOM in 18 months. Flow back is in progress now. Two more wells should be completed in the next two months.
That would be a total of 18,000 bpd increase in crude production. Which is a drop in the bucket of what we need to get out of this deficit...
Being a board member in TN myself, we are lucky by having three resident elk herds. The RMEF has done wonderful things to help out the Cherokee herd, Cataloochee herd, and the Blue Royal heard near KY.
We also raise a lot of money for RMEF, but in kind, they help us with weed control, viewing...
This is exactly how TN does its elk draw system.
One to a resident youth.
One to a raffle with unlimited tickets
6 for archery season in 6 units
6 for rifle season in 6 units
Non-residents can apply for either archery or rifle, but it is VERY VERY rare one is given away to a NR.
Personally I have the Silverado 6.2L TrailBoss and if I was to go it all over again, I would go with the GMC AT4X. The new Silverado ZR2 is not worth the money for what little bit you get over the TrailBoss Edition.
I would also recommend diesel if you are planning on trailering. Also realize...
Looking forward to hearing some stories from the past. They're usually pretty interesting and most of us can learn something new, or reinforce a good lesson learned.
We are just getting a taste of the non-resident hunter interaction that people out west deal with every year. It is humbling and I see their frustration. We are only selling 4250 NR turkey license and tags.
MT is selling 17,500 NR elk and deer tags. HUGE difference.
This is why we need to get...
We hunted some of the most productive areas in northeastern TN located in a WMA. It was amazing how many people were out hunting turkeys in the same area. I have noted over the last three years that the turkeys are extremely "call shy" and worse yet, boogy quickly into the bushes as soon as they...
I am sooooo glad that the science has caught up with common sense. We even see this in TN with turkey and whitetail hunting. They "know" where to go to not be shot at during season and turned these areas into their normal 'migration" routes during the cyclic year.
Sounds like some of these "folks" want paid on a generational fashion to maintain an easement and allow renegotiation based on actual cash value of the land in question. I am sure words such as "forward-leaning", "future thinking", and such will be used within these "progressive" bills to...
