Should be interesting to see how it all pans out in '24. It should be a great show. All the comments on how WY is unobtainable for General Elk/Deer/Pronghorn, but for some reason all the tags will continue to sell out.
Props to WY to go after the money grab of NR. It is their state and resource. Enjoy the money.
Hopefully you can make more pronghorn, deer, and elk with that money. Because the most important thing they can do with their conservation money is increase the pie.

I am from TN and broke out hunting with a rifle. I used to complete in the precision rifle series, but now I am a hunting junkie with a bow. I would change my name... but as Hunting Wife said, it would mess everyone up. I would probably go with GSM_ELk or something like that.
Pistol - 20 yards minimum for practice (rebound, shapnel)
Rifle - Depends on the caliber and position. 400-600 yards is very doable in most atmospheric conditions.
No offense taken, there is a lot of good information in this thread already. Many HT'ers live, work, and play in that nexk of the woods. You may want to try starting your own thread after a proper introduction. Most people are willing to help on a tough to draw tag.
Picked up confirmed BA.5 (Deltacrom) in West Africa from the local population who works with us now. Great group of people. Shame we can't get them some vaccines over here. Same symptoms as above guy. Pretty much same a Omnicron (had it) and it had a quicker infection rate (hits you faster)...
