We will soon be coming out with a feature that will let you accomplish this. I don't have an ETA for you on it, but we've been testing it in the office and it is a pretty handy feature. I can say that we are currently planning to release that update sometime this summer, barring any unforeseen...
Unfortunately, I don't have any update on that for you. It is a priority for us to get that out as soon as possible, and we certainly want to have it available before hunting season. I will post more information in this thread as it becomes available.
In an effort to improve the accuracy of our road data, we have recently been switching over to a new data source. That data source has some roads labeled as private, which is why some of those roads are labeled as such on the onX map. Unfortunately, there are no true public/private road datasets...
That's good feedback, I can definitely see how that is frustrating. I've passed this along to our Engineering Team so that can look at making that option work better and make exporting more convenient.
It depends on your area, as our regular imagery provider typically captures new imagery for about 1/3 of the country a year, so imagery being 2-3 years behind is typical. However, we're working on some new imagery options that will be updated much more often (like more along the lines of a...
Can you double check that you are on the most up to date version of the App. Sometimes if you are on an older version, the app will fail to show on your screen. If you're still not seeing it there, your best bet is to send us an email at [email protected] and we'll be able to dig in a little...

You do not need to purchase Offroad to view the map on your vehicle screen. If you have an Apple device, it should show up on your dash screen when you connect your phone. Android auto is not available just yet, but it is coming soon.
I just chatted with a member of our Engineering Team. Basically, right now our Offroad team is working on building landscape mode and it will be available in that app first. The reason for this is that Offroad has, by far, the largest portion of users that utilize tablets. Tablet users are a...
We use a national data source for most of our maintained roads data. Of course, there is always the possibility of some errors, but we have found our data source to be quite accurate overall. If you see what you believe to be an inaccurately marked road or some other type of error, please use...
If you can send us a DM with the email address associated with your onX account, I can get in touch with the folks who run those notifications and see what we can do to get them turned off for you.
The App and Web Map are both designed to open up to the area that you were viewing when you last closed the map. We are not able to ping your location until you click the location button on the map and that is why it does not open up to your current location. At this time, we do not have the...
Looks like there is an issue in one of our systems here and it is not recognizing your Elite account. Can you send us a DM letting us know the email address associated with your account?
That was the best imagery that was available to us at the time that we acquired updated imagery from our provider. We understand that it is definitely less than optimal to have snow coverage on the imagery and we are looking at other potential sources that feature less snow coverage...
