Sorry about the trouble there! This is a bug that our engineers have identified and are working to correct. We don't have an exact ETA on a fix for this bug, but we do expect to have it corrected in the near future.
At this point, your best option for an update is to email our customer support team and, if necessary, they'll mail you chips with the latest updates on them. That email address is [email protected]
You do need to have some sort of internet connectivity (Cell Service, WiFI) to be able to pull up a new forecast. If you are going to be offline for an extended period of time, your best option is going to be to utilize a satellite communicator that has the ability to pull a weather report, like...
That information is found within the weather feature of the App. You can access that by tapping the weather button in the upper right hand corner of your map screen. You can also tap anywhere on the map to pull up the query card, then tap the weather option there to pull up that information.
That's a great suggestion as well and it is something that our engineers are currently exploring. As you mentioned, it would only work when both parties have cell service, but we hope to have something like this available in the future.
That's an excellent suggestion and something that we have looked into. There are not currently any immediate plans to build out a sub-folder system, but that is something we will pass along to our engineers for them to take under consideration as they build out their future plans.
Our minimum requirement is iOS 16 at the current time. So that does mean that devices that are not able to upgrade to iOS 16 will no longer be able to receive app updates to the onX Hunt App. Devices that are on iOS 15 or older will see app performance issues.
That's an excellent suggestion. We can definitely see the utility in that. We'll pass that along to ur engineering folks to see if that is something they can build and include in a future update of the app.
This issue is most likely related to the operating system on your computer. Windows 7 is an older operating system (Released in 2009) and it is going to struggle to run programs like onX. Unfortunately, beyond upgrading operating systems, or using a different computer, there's not really much...
Sorry about the trouble there! The first thing to do is a simple log out and log back in. That should sync everything up and you should be good to go. If you're still not showing as a paid member after logging back in, shoot us an email so that we can take a look at your account to see what is...
Elite members do not received imagery with higher resolution. The recent imagery feature is imagery that is taken every two weeks, but has lower resolution. Recent imagery is not intended to act as a replacement for our standard satellite imagery. It is intended to supplement the regular...
There's a couple of things to try:
First, double check that you are on the most updated version of the app. Sometimes, being on an older version can cause issues and updating the app can get things running smoothly again.
Also, verify that you have adequate storage space on your phone. If you...
Could you DM us a screenshot of what you're seeing so that we can pass that along to the engineers? That will helpful to them as they troubleshoot this for you.
Much of the information in the Offroad App is also available in the Hunt App. (Such as public/private lands, recreation sites, roads, trails, etc.) The main things you gain with Offroad, which does require a separate subscription, are the color coded roads so you can easily see open/closed dates...
We hear you. The snow covered imagery in western Wyoming is less than ideal. The difficulty in sourcing imagery is multi-faceted: Aerial flights are expensive, so flights are typically flown over areas that are more populated, as there is more demand for imagery in those areas. There is less...
I'm sorry that you're having that crashing issue on your phone! It's probably best to send us an email at [email protected] so that we can take a look at your account and see what the potential culprit is for that issue.
At this time, there are no plans to change the default color of tracks and...
It is certainly possible. You'll just need to log out of the first account and then log into the second with the separate email address. Make sure you do this when you have good service, though. We have heard of some folks logging out when they don't have cell service or wifi and then they've...
Unfortunately, that is the highest resolution possible for the recent imagery at this time. Imagery taken via satellite, like recent imagery, is lower resolution than our regular basemap imagery, which is taken via flyover.
It is available right now to onX Hunt users with the Elite Membership. If you open your basemap selector button in the lower right hand corner of the map, you will see an option for "Recent Imagery." This is satellite imagery that is taken and updated every two weeks. Since it is updated more...
