I have always had trouble keeping the hanging tendon on a hind quarter. I like not having to pack the extra weight of the leg/shin but I can't figure out how to do it and keep the hanging tendon. Does anybody have a link showing how to do this?
I own a yeti and a pelican. They are so heavy I never use them. They also don't hold much for there size. I would go with a Coleman extreme. Costco has great deals on them too.
I've done it. Sad thing is it wasn't enough to stop a fairly lethal looking hit on a raghorn. The location on the elk was good but the penetration was not.
This is a great discussion that really molded into two topics. One being the pussification of the world today and the other being wildlife management by predator control. Both good discussions.
I daydream of being able to retire at 56. I'm definitely guilty of buying niceties I don't need, but thinking of the day I don't have to work is the best deterrent.
