I’ve seen that issue, I think it was a recall I read about when researching. My truck doesn’t have AC right now so its windows down and music up in the summers!
So far I like the Tundra idea… my buddy has a ‘07 Tundra that us bulletproof. One is actually for sale right now a few blocks down. Might have to check it out then.
Hey all,
Looking at putting my ‘96 GMC K1500 out to pasture finally. My price range has led me to something in the 2009-2014ish range. Been looking a lot at the F150 but after doing some reading seems like the EcoBoost in the 3.5L has its share of Gremlins. Hoping someone can help give me some...
Perfectly said. That article made me think of something I have had a hard time putting into words about Montana as well. Growing up here I always loved the small towns we have ad especially enjoyed checking out small town bars and cafes. This article mentions this app as a “shot in the arm for...
Reminds me of the drive to the family ranch as a (little-er) kid with my dad to go hunting with my coffee in hand and, you guessed it, my town pump burrito in the other. I remember trying to ignore the sound of the wind howling outside lol. Good times.

I don’t know what the questions look like on that one but I did get a similar survey from the sounds of it for mule deer this year.
Edit: I see other people got it too. Similar questions to the elk survey. Hopefully it changes things for the better (I’m an optimist)
I like the idea of the brass behind the skull. I started doing something similar this year with mine, using a tag and a piece of twine so I can put the date and where I shot the animal and any other comments. We’ll see if I stick with it or take your idea. 😉
Good to know. I learned from whitebone creations on youtube. I just bring it to just under a boil for an hour or two and then wash after then back in the boil if I can’t get it all off
I started doing my own euro mounts this year. It’s a blast and a great way to wrap up a hunt. I got all the equipment for it but there’s one problem: Montana winters and pressure washers don’t mix well. I was wondering if anyone has tips on how to pressure wash skulls when it’s below freezing...
