I have an old Schrade Walden hunting knife who’s handle a previous owner slathered in JB weld. Admittedly, it functions fine as is, but it’s butt ugly. I’d like to replace the whole handle, but have no idea how to get the original one off.
Does anyone have experience with replacing a stacked...
go scour the pawn shops and LGS. I scored a 1977 30-30 336 for $400 last year. Just finished up a season of walking it through the woods, and it was nice to carry through the thick timber.
Finally got to try them out in the field. No complaints here! I used them as a substitute for my tripod to glass with and was happy with the stability. I’ve used it as a gunrest to confirm my zero as well, and it worked perfectly for that too. Well worth the cost IMO.
Sadly, this plastic signs are no use to me as I don’t own land to shoot on. :/
My understanding is that, at least on BLM & FS land, plastic isn’t a permissible target material. I was told by the local BLM LEO all/any targets have to be biodegradable (paper, cardboard, wood, etc.) or steel.
I’m also muzzy curious. Mostly because it opens up more tags and different season dates. That and they look cool. The load building and cleaning have thus far kept me from taking the plunge, however.
My buddy and his wife go hard for Halloween. My wife and I go over to their place Halloween night to hang out and pass out candy.
My house, no trick or treaters come by, so this is the extent of our Halloween decorations hahaha
150gr 308 federal powershok from a 100yd broadside blacktail. Smashed through a shoulder and 3 ribs before it lodged between the far shoulder and the hide.
Glad I had it ingrained in me from a very young age. My parents wouldn’t take the car out of park unless we all had our seatbelts buckled. These days I’m the same. I’m not moving until everyone’s buckled.
My wife laughs at me because I’ll stay buckled while sitting in a parked car. It’s only...
Hope your pup’s ok. We used to give my dog grapes when he was a puppy, purely out of ignorance that they were bad for them. Never had any issues from it, but we learned quick enough not to all the same.
It’s not just MT. We need more housing stock. And people to accept that they won’t get a single family home w/ a yard. Build up, and we can house more while keeping our natural spaces.
Oh I’m aware, I used to have one and it was awesome. But, this time around I’m more interested in this model. The idea would be to leave it on full time.
I like you can still use the truck bed, same as a normal hard cover, and you get the bed over the cab so it’s not taking up space in the bed...
Check out the WatchDuty app. It’s helpful for getting alerts of new fires in your area. Of course, you’d need service to get those, though.
Wildfires are just sort of a part of fall. I agree that smoke is the bigger concern. It’s no fun being out there with your eyes and throat burning, plus...
Has anyone used a 4wheel camper slide in? I’m considering one, but after reading these experiences with pop-up campers, I’m wondering how much they suffer from the same downfalls. Namely water repellency and heat retention.
University of Oregon might as well be on there, since Oregon State is. They’re all of 45 mins apart, so any fish you don’t catch at UO just head down river and catch them at OSU.
One of these years, once I get a little more experience under my belt, I want to float the stretch between the two...
Last year at Costco I picked up an MH emergency bucket. 128 meals for $70. Idk if it was a one time thing, but comparatively the current sale doesn’t seem like a very good deal.
