Utah Archery Bison hunt day-by-day videos
I just discovered these on youtube this morning - had time to watch parts 1 & 2. Great stuff. I got to help someone on a Henry's bison hunt years ago and had a great time. This brings back lots of memories. Thanks for the great videos you produce. I've watched them all several times.- dididraw

Gear suggestions
I second the binos and the boots - you can't hunt what you can't see or can't get to. Getting in reasonable shape isn't a piece of gear but can make a big difference. I would add that you need clothing that lets you stay in the woods despite cold, rain, wind, snow, etc. I've been able to afford... -

I really like keeping morning and mid day meals as simple as possible to be able to focus on the task at hand rather than food prep and cleanup. First timer diy caribou
I did a fly out caribou hunt 15 years ago. Was a really cool experience, tons of animals. We went on the opening day in early Aug. Biggest issues were antlers still have velvet (would have preferred a hard horned animal), bugs were nasty, and I lost a good portion of the meat to spoilage...- dididraw

Score my "yard" buck
Looks like a fully mature buck with a big body. I'm not great at scoring but I would guess 185+. Certainly a buck most all of us would love to hunt. -

Making conversation before draw results --- opening week or last week?
Is there any danger that the bucks will start to drop their horn sheaths before the end of the season? I heard years ago that this process can start as early as mid Oct but I've never done any serious research on the subject. -
