Good points, and there are always a lot of "if's" in these cases. but, what if the land trade was a for a good chunk of land? If it was in a permit area, it wouldn't be too overrun. "There's plenty of land for people to run around on" Ok, maybe you aren't for it, but I feel like many sportsman...- MHMT

I hate to say it, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but if there were a good enough land trade for the isolated public land, wouldn't it be worth it? Winter bird

Ahhh this is your problem. you have to use the hunting version if you are hunting. :D I always found it funny how there is hiking, climbing, hunting versions of smartwool socks.- MHMT

Issues with my Kenetreks
In my opinion. Doesn't matter if you are wearing the most amazing boots in the world, if you hike far enough and hard enough you will likely get blisters. The best way I have found to prevent blisters, is to hike all day, every day and eventually your feet get used to it, no matter the boot.- MHMT

Sitka vs Under Armour
Hate to be a debby downer, but in my opinion Under Armour doesn't wick moisture at all, it seems like it holds it in. Sitka stuff is nice and have the polyester base layer and like it, but just got a smart wool merino base layer, way better. Also I have broken a button, zipper and two tighteners...- MHMT
