    Worst Places in WY

There’s a stretch between Torrington and Lingle that used to have about three billboards that summed up Wyomings problem neatly and concisely in a few miles. One for suicide, one for teen pregnancy/adoption options, and one for meth. It used to make me depressed when I went through that...

    Worst Places in WY

I think some of you guys are confusing towns with places. Rawlins, Casper, and RS might not be nice towns…but they’re in awesome places. The amount of year round outdoor activities in those places, coupled with ample public land make a good place. Gillette may be a nicer town than Rawlins or...

    Worst Places in WY

Gillette. I’d way rather live in Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawlins, Casper etc before Gillette.

    Burger patty shaper tool

Just get a big plastic lid guys. Works good and easy to clean. We did this in restaurants I worked at and I do it at home.

    Freeze Dried Meals

Haven’t tried the peak. I do like stroganoff, so I’d add it to the menu if it’s not like the MH.

    Freeze Dried Meals

Surprised I haven’t seen MH lasagna on this list. That’s my go to, along with biscuits and gravy. I like the Peak breakfasts with the strawberry granola too, and I got some Pad Thai that was really good too but I can’t remember the brand. And like most of you, can’t stand the Stroganoff. If you...

    As they lay

Naw…that’s my general tag WT from this year. This is my hangover buck…got him not too far from Eschelmans place in Carbon County about 17 years ago or so. Working on his mount right now since I’m trying to hang up a lot of my skull plated bucks from over the years.

I shot my first buck with a wicked hangover 😂

    Mysterious fowl

Yep. I shot a mallard with rice breast once, only difference was it had a bunch more of that parasite in it. I tossed it, as everything I saw at the time said to toss it. Now I realize their edible.

    Pronghorn taxidermy pictures please

You’ll have to excuse the decorations…here’s a better picture. The taxidermist did a really nice job.

    Pronghorn taxidermy pictures please

My wife’s got one that kinda fits the bill. I wouldn’t say it’s a hard right…and the photo doesn’t do it any justice…but here’s a right facing pronghorn. I’ll try to remember to dust it off and take a better photo when I get home.

    Huge winter range buck

That’s a big ol buck. I’d love to see him when I’m out and about. That being said, I have zero interest in purposefully hunting a buck that 100 other guys are after that has a name and all that. Just seems like everything I hate about what mule deer hunting has become all wrapped up in one...

    American prairie. What's the issue?

I’ll second that. I hate it when people tear up roads.

    American prairie. What's the issue?

Why would I care if it has a fence on it unless it’s to keep your livestock on it? I’d usually prefer no fence and no livestock to be honest. Your paying for the grass your livestock eats too. I’m not out there filling up my rumen to turn into profit. That being said, I’ve long said I would...

    Non-typical Waterfowl Dogs

Will do. Not gonna push it, but I’d sure like to get home.

    Non-typical Waterfowl Dogs

Two hours til I can leave this place, and a sketchy 800 mile drive is all that’s keeping me from getting home to the pups and my wife. This thread made me homesick.

    American prairie. What's the issue?

My wife and I, and her family have had some serious conversations about trying to go this route with their ranch in the future after her uncle can’t do it anymore. There’s only us and one other couple in the family that are our age that would even consider the risk of giving up what we have...
