A $6 DIY binocular tripod mount
That’s awesome! I made one out of some scrap wood and a bungee that had laying around. Could possibly reduce the weight 20-25 percent if I honey combed it with a forstner bit but it works fine the way it is. -

Jesus, that sounds like it was a pain in the ass. I had a tiny mule deer buck that I had a hell of a time with once. It was like I baked the grease in to the bone. What's the craziest/coolest thing you've found in the wild?
This reminds me of an old mine shaft I found when I was a kid as well. A couple buddies and I would go throw rocks down in to it. Then we had the idea to repel down into it without any climbing experience. We had a couple old ropes that we tied together, then we tied a cinder block on the end...- ZBB

When I was kid 9-10 I was looking at an exploratory mine drift to build a fort in and I found a bottle with a note in it tucked under a root ball of a birch tree. I tried getting the note out through the hole but I wasn’t happening. So I broke the bottle tried to read the note, couldn’t read it...- ZBB

Have you tried offsetting the patch on the jag? I’ve had that problem before with my 308 and just put patch on closer to one corner and it works fine. -

My dad has a 31” draw and he shoots a 62” recurve and hasn’t ever said anything. He shot my 62 longbow a couple weeks ago and again didn’t say anything about stacking But if you wanted a longer bow 3 rivers archery has a couple longbows in your price range.
