The spotter was used last season and is in new condition. Asking $900 for the spotter. I'll throw in the Benro Tripster FTR09C Carbon Fiber tripod for an extra $120. This is a great lightweight setup for backpack hunting.
All,
I'm selling some gear I don't need anymore.
Leupold vx3i 4.5-14x40mm with Boone and Crockett Reticle $400 (barely used like new condition)
Vortex Ranger 1000 Rangefinder $175 (used but works great)
I ordered a new Metcalf from Linton Outdoors last year that didn't have the side zipper. I took it over to MR and they said they were having some quality control issues. I guess that's what happens when you outsource to Southeast Asia.
Randy, I need to make some room in the freezer and have some old bear meat taking up space. After taking that beautiful Alaskan black bear this spring do you have a favorite family bear recipe that you could share? Maybe Mrs. Fin's specialty?
I'm on my second Metcalf now that they lightened the NICE frame and it's perfect. It's the only pack I use or need for day hunts and extended trips. You really can't go wrong and 25% off is a steal.
carry
Nice work! That is like a medieval antelope shield. Would it be possible to cut it down the middle and put small hinges on it? That would make it easier to carry on your pack.
Both MR and SG make great packs. Take your pick and be happy with it. I have used a MR Metcalf for years but I'm sure I'd be just as satisfied with a SG as I have friends that rave about them.
