If you are in the mountains scouting find clear cuts and glass them. First half hour and last half hour being the most productive. Running cams will tell you alot more
to many factors on days off, OIL tags, super hard to draw tags, how far away is hunt and do I have other tags that are better that year all factor in vacation time
alot of her bucks are taken outta state and more specifically ID.
If you want a bigger area to hunt with pack trails etc you may wanna look into 172. I have hunted it a few times and have drawn elk tags there. I was surprised by how many bucks I got on my cams. One cam 2 years ago had 11...
I know that country well, there is lots of lazy hunters. I have yet to see a hunter in the field in last 3 years where I have hunted. I have seen multiple bucks on all my hunts. That road you were asking about is a zoo with quads

and all unsold outfitter allocated tags are up for sale Aug 1. The higher demand areas like Sawtooth etc you need to call IDFG and be put on a list if you are trying to get one of the leftover outfitter tags.
time in the field, guys that spend more time scouting and more time hunting are going to be more successful. That way with any animal you pursue. I dont like it when people attribute a score to a buck as mark of achievement.. age of buck is more of achievement if a guy is consistently killing...
whitetail antler configuration has absolutely nothing to do if its a hybrid mule deer at all. Everything in that pic you posted shows nothing that its a hybrid, and everything about it screams mule deer. That bio must of been drunk
