Yes. I have one on my 4.5-14X50 and it's right on. Just give Leupold the specs on the ammo you plan to use. I have my setup for a 7mm Browning A bolt and it works great with my 150gr Barnes TTSX factory ammo.
My buddy and I drew muzzleloader bull elk tags in N. Arizona - November. OTC archery deer in SE Arizona. Possibly muzzleloader deer in December (can only bag one deer in AZ, so either archery or mz to get it done). Then it's quail season in the fall.
It's good to hear from somebody who actually owns some Tract gear. I've been looking at their rifle scopes for a while now. I have a Swaro 3-9x36 that I really like, but I'd like a little more power and larger objective. But the glass is excellent. It would be interesting to compare that scope...
115gr BH209, B.O.R. 350gr lead, 100 yds, Traditions Strikerfire LDR. First three on the right; scope adjustment; two more on the left (no swabbing in-between shots). Yep, they shoot straight. Similar results shooting the 300g THOR, 110gr BH209 (1987 fps). Also, shot the B.O.R. 270 copper bullets...

I've heard nothing but great things about the CVA lineup of muzzleloaders - ACURA specifically. Someone else on this forum recommended the ACURA V2 LR (long range) - can't go wrong with that. If you look on muzzle-loaders.com, you'll find several options for "get started" kits - you'll need some...
Congratulations! Your CVA rifle is plenty for elk. Match it up with some Blackhorn 209 and whatever bullet your rifle likes - it's an experiment every time you try a new bullet. I have a November MZ tag in Arizona also. I'm shooting a Traditions Strikerfire LDR, 110gr (by volume) BH 209; working...
Congrats! We drew the same area/bull, but 12-18 NOV. We'll try to leave you a couple bulls. ;) Bring your fishing gear if you do some scouting before the season starts - great trout fishing in the N. AZ lakes!
Look at Rattlesnake Quiet area and Pine Grove Quiet area. No vehicles allowed, so you'll have to pack it out. But, that's a great way to get away from the crowds.
