I bought a pair of 15x56 binos specifically for a late NV elk hunt. The optics were superb. They couldn't handle the negative zero mornings. The focus mechanism on one side just quit. Sent them off right after New Years.

It shot 168 and 175 grain loads from other rifles, extremely well. Sub 1".

Use whatever rifle you have.
Practice at the bait distance, and understand at what yardage exactly your bullet crosses line of sight.
An old friend wounded a couple of bears because he held crosshairs where he wanted to hit....at 20 yards.
He consistently shot low and was too much of a dumb...
