Whatever you choose make sure it’s the kind where the kid looks the same way as you. Then they really feel part of the action.

Oh I got ya. I do like the adapter. It’s super solid unlike some of the cheap ones, never backs out and once it’s clicked in it really can’t go anywhere.

There are bears in all different types of habitat. They act a little different in each, but generally you’re looking for more remote, steep drainages with water in the bottom.
That sounds like a lot of Colorado… but as far as alpine bear hunts I’m talking about “V” type drainages near treeline...
