Well the boys last cross country meet is 2 days before the opener so it looks like we will be a day late. We moved and they made him start his practices all over again so he has to get 14 in before he can run and is going to miss half the meets so I don't want to short him on the ones he can...
That would be an awesome hunt. Good luck. There is a small heard in the flint hills where I grew up. I would love to hunt them on those big rolling hills
I am 0-8 or 0-9 on elk. I have never punched a tag been hunting them for 25 years, I can't even remember how many times I have been. And I just want a brown one. I have had bull and cow tags. One day hopefully it will happen
I use both. I buy a good one for each unit from my topo because I like to have them. It is also easier to put up on the side of the trailer for a couple guys to look at instead of everyone trying to huddle around a phone. And I am old and like maps
Looks like some good eats. I am looking at bear hunts my buddy really wants to hunt them sometime so I am trying to figure it out and put a hunt togther for him. What taste better spring or fall bear?
My wife shoots an old 760 in 300 savage. It’s a nice little rifle. About 15 years ago a place was selling springs for the trigger I put it in and it’s much better. I’d like one in 35 Whelen
