Your doe tags will take a short morning to fill, the roads aren't horrible but if it rains they get a little sloppy. You will have a fun hunt, good luck in Colorado.
I'd call it rolling hills, its a lot of sage but stalk able hills and valleys in it. As far as a side by side I would leave it home if you have a good 4 wheel drive truck. There was a lot of camping spots in any of the little valleys along the roads but you will get dusted by vehicle traffic if...
Take a trip on over to Lancaster Archery I'm sure they'll have what you need. I'm fortunate that they are 20ish minutes away from me but there is a lot to see and do in the area for you to make a day trip.
I use my big buddy heater in a 12x14 canvas tent and keep a little vent in the peak unzipped about 3 inches. I've used it in my 24 foot camper before when the furnace was acting up, and in the hut for ice fishing. I really like it but it will use some gas. One 20lb bottle about every 3 nights...
The Kodiak tent is great in my opinion. I like the floor and can set it up myself. I've used it from 70 degrees to 15 degrees, I set a 20lb bottle of propane out the back door and run the hose into the tent with the big buddy heater and keeps it very warm. I've had it in really bad wind and rain...
I have a stone glacier solo and use it all the time in PA, NY, and out west. This year I'll have it in Canada for moose and bear. It is a little expensive but the comfort has made it worth it. I strap sticks and a lock on stand with my outer layers in the bag and away I go deer hunting in PA. If...
Went with a q tip on the inside of the case neck and used a different lube on a pad. After that all the problems are gone the cases go in and out smooth. Thanks everyone.
Thanks, I'll try to add more lube and get some inside the neck. The case is not stuck I did 3 and they came out but I thought the would not be. I have not tried inside the neck I'll do that this afternoon.
I'm new to reloading, that said I have used spray lube of the case and when I press it in the resize and de prime die it goes in fine and come almost out then gets stuck. I'm not seeing any marks of the brass that show me it is sticking somewhere. Do any of you guys run into this or have a...
Hope I can help a bit but thinking about it, a bit of everything. 1- 530 yards prone animal standing still no rush. 2- 90 yards me standing animal eating no rush to shoot, I couldn't kneel because of a rise in terrain. 3- 180 yards kneeling resting on a rock animal feeding no rush. 4- 5 yards...
