I'll be hunting elk with a rifle on a controlled hunt tag.

My morning started out with elk feeding and bugling about 1/2 mile away. I once again started questioning my choice about buying a “B tag” so I could hunt bulls later with my rifle. These elk continued to sing to me the rest of the day.

If I had to guess I would say the nonresident elk tags will sell out at the end of august or beginning of september.
I didn't draw deer, elk or antelope for the 8th year strait. The only thing that I have ever drawn in Idaho are the "X tags" and I was able to pick up two of those this year but they were both undersubscribed.
