Joined this forum 2011. Over a couple thousand posts. The vast majority of those concerned the very issues that (one would surmise) concern the average DIY public land hunter. Posted plenty of pics and hunting stories.

While so many of those posting on this thread are pissing and moaning about the loss of mostly worthless - and arguably damaging - symbolism. Some of us are actually "in the arena". Striving valiantly and attempting - in the face of withering and remarkably stupid opposition from our "fellow"...

This forum once had a lot of discussion about public land hunting issues.
A lot of serious public land advocates used to bring up, discuss, and advocate for these issues.
Invariably, the tin hat gallery would show up and railroad things.

Bozeman area snow knocked power out in my area. An interesting twist to an interesting situation. Headlamps on - fed the dogs, coleman-stoved some coffee, turned on the portable radio for some music.
Don't have a smartphone so I couldn't instagram. It was a bitch.

The liar's (goin' easy here) is up. Had a project in cue.
Last coat of plastidip clear coat on the handle of the new net. 3 coats black plastidip spray, 3 coats clear plastidip coat.
Pretty mundane project - but mundane is a great alternative to pathetic (again goin' easy here)......
