Each year that I have hunted pronghorn in WY, I have hunted the last week of the season.
Just curious as to what everyone's opinion is regarding the "best" plan for hunting pronghorn on public in WY.
I'd love to hear your ideas and your reasons behind the plan you prefer.

I am in NO way affiliated or compensated by this Duluth trading, but I have these pants and I have ABUSED them in cacti, honey locust, briars, thorns, cat-claw etc. I have even crawled on my knees through prickly pear and not a SINGLE poke!! And they are comfy!
No way in hell a snake is biting...
Movies and irrational fear have WAY over-blown a snakes desire/ability to envenomate humans. Pretty much any quality boot will prevent envenomation from even a large prairie rattler. Prairie rattlers are pretty small, and unless you are on all fours, you're not gonna get tagged any higher than...
My ONLY "nice" scope is a Leupold 3.5 - 10 x 40 VX3i and I use the CDS. I haven't used it a LOT, but all of the animals that I have shot have been between 150, and 285 yards, and every time I pulled the trigger, the bullet went exactly where I aimed.
Are you one of the wealthy hunters that can just drop a "LARGE SUM OF MONEY" on a pack? There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that if you have that kind of cash laying around, but if you're like some of us that have to be more thrifty.... I LOVE my military surplus Molle II pack!! I got mine...
So what I am hearing, .. if I ever make it to Oregon, I can come hunt on your place if I whack all the coyotes I can find, and opt for specific deer and elk? Heck, I'll be free labor for a WEEK for that deal!! :)
I'll even cook you dinner!
The owner himself called me back last night and we BS'd for almost an hour! Great guy and long time family rancher. Also found out that he owns hundreds upon hundreds of acres of land in an adjoining unit, and his sister owns a massive amount of land in the unit I plan on hunting! He invited...
With so much negative in the news and on social media I wanted to post a quick positive comment.
I am hoping to take my wife out west for a fun antelope hunt this October. I have been researching an area for MANY months, and found a honey hole! In fact on google earth you can actually see...
I love my Tikka in .270 with a Leupold scope! I got a great deal on the rifle and the glass.
Now it's time to buy a rifle that will be shared between my wife and daughters, for game no larger than Kansas whitetail. As far as caliber I am strongly leaning toward a .243, and I have a good...
My very first backpack hunt was done using the alps pack and I HATED it!!! SO extremely uncomfortable!
I sold it on craigslist and used the money to by a military surplus molle 2 pack and hopped on ebay for 10-12 snap on pouches and I'm THRILLED with it's comfort and functionality!
