    In AZ the elk tend to rut in the same place every year... Its usually where the cows are for the summer/fall as the bulls are going to them.

    What do you mean by is there a limit of how long a road can be? There is not, it doesn’t even have to be on blm as long as it’s maintained by blm. If your going down the road of the forest service rule that you can drive 100 yards off a road to camp that might be a way to get around the public.

    I would disagree that finding bucks is hard. Pick a unit with good deer numbers (most have great numbers) and good public access and you’ll find deer. Getting with in bow range is much harder than you think. The entire state seems to be made of small rocks (gravel like) and is loud to walk...

    Arizona is only 9 when you apply the kid... cant buy a point at 9... can buy points when they are 10... as for the 9 thing, they have to be 10 by the time the hunt would start

    The other idea is to apply for states that you can turn tags back in, hopefully without a penalty. Az you have point guard where you can get your points back, don't get money back either way. Colorado second through 4th picks can be turned back in and get money, first choice its either money...
