Metal Detectors for finding shot in upland birds
I assumed (but may be wrong) that this thread is about steel shot. It is much harder and can definitely crack teeth. I am not sure any of these devices would help with #6 lead shot.- VikingsGuy

An interesting question - are walleye fishing numbers (fisherman & hours on the water) actually up in MN? Anecdotally if feels like numbers down from the 80s/90s. A bit like hunting. Fewer overall, but those that do do so more intensely. But I have no idea if my hunch is right.- VikingsGuy
