How far west into South Dakota does a guy need to go before finding decent sharpie area? I live in SW MN, so I can get to Chamberlain in about 4 hours, which seems to be a good area. In addition to that, how does hunting get in the late season? Is it worth planning a trip in November/December...
Tried Tinder for a while but it was not really for long-term relationships. I met my wife on Hinge. I think I had at least one fish picture on my profile and was pretty up front about my hobbies.
I've been very happy with the results of Barnes 150 TTSX on whitetail. I wouldn't hesitate to bring it on an elk hunt....someday I hope to make that a reality.

I can only really speak to what I feel would work within a school, but I've seen first-hand the positive impact of additional mental health and SEL staff has on students. Tackling students' trauma and genuine (or perceived) mental health issues is something that is and should continue to be...
What disappoints me about this is (yet again) we are putting in place systems to REACT to the event if and when it occurs, instead of putting resources in place to try and prevent them in the first place. Feels like we give the "thoughts and prayers" and continue to bury our heads in the sand...
I've used the Orvis Cold Weather Hunting Gloves for the past two seasons here in Minnesota. I hate having cold hands and these have been great. I wear them from about 30 degrees to -10. After that...I usually stay home lol!
Yes I did. I got the hybrid finish with the black/grey. 26" 12 gauge. Shoots really soft. No rust issues other than the sling swivels, though that was my own doing. I'd easily recommend one to anyone looking.
The evolution of this thread could be used as a prime example of how any sort of action to address this issue, or any issue, doesn't happen. A civil discussion of thoughts/opinions ( civil not being something we see at the national level) followed by nothing changing. The old definition of...
I have no doubt we would get along, but we see the world very differently. I see too many examples of blatant hypocrisy in organized religion to have any interest in it dictating my life.
I can't like this comment big enough. I'm so tired of being bombarded by "my side is right" and then we just move on...until it happens again and the cycle continues. I love teaching. I don't have an answer....but for the love of all that is holy, can we agree to do SOMETHING!
I have the SL in 16. Bought it as a gift to myself when I finished my masters. Every time I think about buying another gun, I'm reminded that this thing is the perfect upland gun for me. I bit the bullet and bought a case of Boss #4's and have been very happy with their performance. With the...
Often referred to as the "achievement gap". This is something every state and district struggles with.
Regarding homework, look up Standards-based grading and learning. It is the trend (at least in my area) that education is going toward. Homework is referred to as "practice" and the weight of...
