    Unit 24 is awesome. You can find great bucks and lots of numbers. Be ready to hike though. Terrain can be rough so start training in advance to handle the elevation changes and rough terrain.

    I love the areas you are interested in. I live in the gila and hunt 16b a lot. My favorite area for big mule deer. As long as your not afraid to get some miles on the boots, you will find a trophy. I see lots of mule deer and a few nice coues. No hunts for me but i hike there all summer long...

    Never had any issues. I live here go camping all.the time. I have left things out and returned with no fear of things being gone. I would say you wouldnt have to worry much, but if your in a heavy traffic area dont careless and leave expensive things out.

    You should buy a otc bear tag. Always a ton of fun. I hunt sw nm its a tougher hunt sometimes, but lots of fun especially archery.

    Nothing for me either and im a resident. Oh well bear season here i come. Also have a deer and elk youth hunt, nephew drew both. So guess i will be doing some hunting this year. Looks like in gonna be doing lots of scouting this year.

    I know they plan on getting them out earlier than the 29th. But no exact date. I live in nm and i have noticed the site will have the results posted, sometimes a day before ive gotten any emails. Best bet log in after lunch everyday and check.

    OTC Barbary sheep hunt unit 32

    I know several people who consistently fill tags. Biggest pointer they told me was get good boots. If you want to put sheep down with any consistency you have to go out of the way. They got 2 sheep last year both were several miles in from the road.

    I live in sw nm. I hunt units 23,24,16 for deer. Great units i would say 16 then 24 as my favorite units down here. Lots of big bucks but you have to be ready to walk. Terrain here can be tough. However great deer numbers of both mule deer and coues deer.

    Bunch of elk this weekend few nice bulls. Was out bear hunting saw lots of bear sign as well. Been hitting unit 16 looks good.

    So unit 24 is looking good as well as 16 for mule deer. Nice elk around unit 15 nothing super big this last week. Its looking good i have a mule deer hunt and taking people out for elk hunts. Gonna be a good year i believe. Ran into nice sized bear prints near water holes as well.

    Spotted some nice looking bulls this weekend and some nice mule deer unit 15 16 saw the elk nice mule deer 16 & 24 hopefully ill see some more this coming weekend. Scouting season is in full effect.

    Raining a bit more now and definitely growing well. Several nice mule deer have started to show. Elk are looking really nice also. I live in sw nm next to the gila. Gonna be a great year looks like.
