Recovered bullets
225 grain Barnes TSX from a 338 Win mag - finishing shot at about 15 yards after the grizzly was down but not dead. 200 grain Nosler Partition from my 30-06. Dropped him twice with the 30-06, then the guide handed me his 338 for the finishing shot. All rounds fired at less than 40 yards. Heck...- Guy

Recovered bullets
160 grain Sierra SPBT GameKing recovered from a mule deer shot at about 150 yards with my 7mm Rem Mag Ruger Number One rifle. The bullet has been very accurate from that rifle.- Guy

Why coyotes need managed
Yup! I like to 25-06 the 'yotes. Rough on the fur, but I'm just trying to thin 'em out anyway. The 25-06 is my primary mule deer rifle, so it's good field practice for me as well. Regards, Guy -

Ruger Number One in 375 H&H. I've shot three black bear with it, nothing else. Closest one was at about 15 feet - it had been wounded by another hunter, I followed it up into the brush and finished it. Farthest was a bit over 300 yards. Yes, the Enduron line was discontinued. Too bad, I'd found some real nice loads for it, particularly with IMR 8133 and the 7mm Rem Mag. Excellent accuracy and velocity. Ah well... My son's rifle shoots particularly well with it, and I've got enough on hand to load him ammo for a few more seasons...- Guy
