Looking into 2017
Was your area all timber? they could have just been in there because of the heat. if it isn't so warm next year you can probably find them in more open country. I hunted archery this year in very open country and never seen or heard an Elk. -

grinder problem
Thanks Dave, Tough getting old. The blade was not in the box so forgot about it and was thinking the plates did the cutting. Now all i have to do is find the blade.- old man

Have an old cabala's meat grinder that i only used on one deer many years ago, so do not know what i am doing wrong. i tried 3 different cutting blades on both sides and it still won't cut up the elk.- old man
