its a 43-46 rifle tag,a pretty dang good tag from my understanding,,nearly100 pct sucess harvest rate,with the moisture nevada got over this last winter and spring so far, this should be a near ideal year,,i just don't think ill be rehabbed far enough along by the late August/early September...
i hàd 3 upper tendons completly tore off the bone,, now they are held in place with little screws until they naturally get grown back on, gonna be a while, and will be hard to not overdo it too soon, but doing good so far

at upper 50,s this is my first shoulder surgery,( hopefully my last) already improving everyday, but this is gonna take several months yet of p t to get healed up to get back to my heavy truck mechanic job
applying in several states, after 14 years,drew nevada antelope and Wyoming tags,stuck out in several other states,, just with injury now,it puts my whole hunting season this year as very marginal, don't want to blow shoulder out again by pushing it
no,im a non res of Wyoming,,i drew the general elk this year with 5 points,,type6 reduced cow,,and antelope 48-2 with 6 points, gonna be challenging trying to make it happen
well this isnt good timing but i blew out my rh shoulder in early june,,got a shot ,had a mri and it showed 2 1/2 tendons ripped completly,,just had full ortho surgury on july 3rd,,it turned out it was 3 full tendons blown,,i think im thru the worst of the pain,but gotta keep it slinged thru...
for under $200 each,ive come home from many a out of state hunts with freezers full,,i use them to hold gear,food and misc untill i gotta reload them and turn them on for the ride home,,seems more convienient than buying- finding ice in the middle of no where.ya got it at the ready for hunting...
i have been using 1 or 2,, 7 cubic ft chest freezers from home depot for my hunting trips,,depending on how many tags im filling,,will take 1 freezer for 1 elk if quarters are still bone in,with excecption of deboning backstraps,tends,and neck meat,,you might be able to get more in if you fully...
years ago,i used a chainsaw to split a elk strait down the back bone,it worked pretty good but was a bit messy slinging bone fragments and pieces..nowadays i have been using a cordless sawsall with a long blade,,it does a cleaner job by far,,have 2 batterys available if your gonna split a elk...
