    me and a buddy went 1 for 2 on cows there 2 yrs ago//hunted the small eastern section of forest area//alot of the elk had already moved over to private n w of the forest area//could see them ,but a mile from public edge.elk were pretty thin on public,,just a stray or 2 around.

    it appears to me that it may get harder as a non res to draw,,that along with the crazy "special" price chang is gonna probly really increase the "regular" draw point creep.

    my best shot was in 2020 in idaho,,late season muzzy elk hunt,,dropped a 5x5 at 240 yards with my .54 cal great plains muzzy,,425 gr conical,90 grains 777,,open peep sights,,put 20" OVER THE BACK AND DRILLED HIM///{ill also take a little luck on it too}

    special draw is out of my price range//its either "regular" draw price,or try another state//im pretty much done spending my money in wyoming unless i retire and move there..glad i burnt my elk and antelope points this year.

    i think this is a terrible idea,,ranchers should enroll in the hma and walk in systems that Wyoming has,both very good public access options
