What boning knife do you use?
Cheap filet knife from Wally World and a sharpener. I can roll right through a deer. Don’t need anything fancy to process. Been using the same couple of knives for about 5 years- CUElk

Hmmmm. Was that recently? Pretty sure someone posted after they called and was told the opposite. You have to apply for the tag the following year to keep your points. Which was my understanding as well. I hope you are right tho- CUElk

Ballot Initiative to End NR Big Game Hunting?
Honestly, I would just like to come and hunt every 3 years. Not interested in limited entry units. I enjoy hunting those mountains with my friends and family. Don’t mind the wait and I don’t mind paying even more than what I’m paying. I simply want a system that makes planning a little easier. -
Beach/family fishing trip
If you are not big city, everything commercialized, big crowds, and traffic type of a family, I would avoid dirty Myrtle like the plague. It won’t be as bad in May but you will still have to deal with all the high school and college kids getting out of school. There are some fun things to do...- CUElk

Two good friends in management at CAT. Heavy equipment mechanics are hard to come by. I would do it for sure. Don’t know a lot about John Deere as a company but they tell me a lot of good things about CAT. Especially how they treat their employees- CUElk

My wife has been in the hotel industry for years, high end hotels. The other responses are correct, all hotels get them. They are brought in by the guest. Thoughts on using a military surplus ruck sack as a first pack until I can save up for a high quality/value pack for Western Big Game hunting?
Packed a few bulls and deer with one. It’s not comfortable at all, but will get it done. Would not do a overnight trip with it, but you would be fine for a day hunt.- CUElk
