Looking to book DIY Caribou 2024

Leupold scopes love or hate em?
Was curious to see what folks on hunt talk thought about leupold scopes. Have you used many, were they reliable, have they failed you, if so how, didn't hold zero, didn't track etc. If you have used them how far are your average shots. Tent/sleeping bag help?
I typically use an older msr hubba hubba tent that I love. If I were to replace it I would go with the sg 2 man. Your bag is crazy heavy, no way I would pack that. I would look at a good down bag somewhere in the 0 to 15 degrees. Lots of good brands to choose, western mountaineering, marmot...- elkhuntinfool78

As many others on here I see no point carrying a handgun when rifle hunting and if I'm being honest I usually chuckle when I see someone who is. Good guns done dirt cheap
I love some of the older rifles, particularly old model 70's and 94's. While I do have a couple of modernish rifles there's still something about blued steel and wood that stirs my blood. As far as calibers go 99% of mine are old. 30'06, .270 , .338 win mag to name a few. Even the new rifles...- elkhuntinfool78

Last year I fulfilled my lifelong dream hunt of an Alaskan Moose. I went solo, got dropped off via float plane and literally had the trip of a lifetime. Wish I could go every year. Alaska is a special place no doubt.- elkhuntinfool78
