First ever archery elk!
Thanks guys! It was a great hunt! I prefer to hunt solo, but I’ve always shared a camp, sure makes the pack out much easier! Had a great fall, filled all tags, got my wife on antelope and got some mounts back from last year! -

Colorado Rio
Got it done opening day! Even though it was ridiculously windy, the birds were moving. Most of the ones I saw were with hens, but found a little group of gobblers working some sandbars. Called him in to 20 yards. Colorado DIY public land! First Rio, time to figure out an Osceola Hunt now!- D-Mac

I run a commander alps frame, and then a day pack in it usually. I know it’s not the same quality as most of the packs listed here, but I have about $120 in it all together and it flat out will carry some weight.
