    Pimp my Tikka Stock

Too damned ugly to be mistaken for a coyote so that's a plus. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No offense ment.

    November rut?

1-3 times wait ten minutes, 3 times in a location, never seen this scare a deer.

what is the best 300 Win Mag brass?

I have some old RP brass that has probably seen 10 loads. Its when you really start to push it that most brass starts to shorten the life span. I'm currently using some Barnes brass that I think was also made by Remington I think. Only thing I can say is stay away from nickel plated as it will...

It kinda seems like you do not need one if you can already shoot MOA. Your money.

    November rut?

Try rattling and a doe estrous can. They might come in quiet so be watchful.

    Guesses on Score?

I shoot them because they look good, heck with the score. They taste pretty good too. If you think he looks nice, shoot him.

I had a box of those, they shot pretty well. The 100 gr was more accurate and faster out of my Marlin 30/30. Never shot anything with though.

    South Dakota Application

Good for you. I have shot a couple of real nice mulies there in the early part of this century. Harder to draw tags there now. I have seen some decent whitetails out there but far and few in between. Like whities everywhere, they are making inroads. Ex in-laws lived on Argyle road. Could hunt...

    Turkey encounters

A friend of mine had perched on a limb before first light and as it started to lighten up, he saw movement farther out of the limb. A big white turkey started to get nervous and eventually flew off. Friend was having a hard time figuring out what it was until it got light enough.

Great job, one happy lass there.

    Oh, the irony!

I once suggested that maybe the NFS should manage the wildlife in the forest: The room went silent.

    BH rifle deer

There a lot of area to the Hills, I just might not have been in the correct locale or time period. YouTube has vids of SD wolves. Wyoming needs to do a better job of controlling them. JK

    BH rifle deer

Just got back from the BH deer hunt. Toughest hunt I've been on in some time. Did a ton of walking, waiting, rattling, calling. Did not see a ton of deer. Eventually found a deer with horns that I could get in my scope (4x3). Saw a lot of tree damage from spring storms I guess. Hunting an area...
