    Ya, I saw photos of that buck awhile back. Any idea if it's been officially entered into a record book? Also, I had heard that it was from Nebraska, not Alberta. That's what happens with the telephone game I guess.

    8-6/8 inches of length past the prong. 7 inches of total mass above the prong. 4-1/8 above the prong and 2-7/8 on the last quarter. At least those are the measurements I came up with.

    Not sure on the age. We'll probably send the teeth in to get aged. 18-4/8 long, 7 prong, 8 3/8 on it's circumference under the prong.

    His body was very small compared to all the other bucks around him and he was also much lighter in color and shaggier. Very weird. I guess all the feed went to his horns instead of his body.

    Ya, we almost switched to a rifle after a few botched attempts with the handgun, but Len stuck with it and it payed off as this buck will probably be the SCI World's Record with a handgun (beating out my Dad's buck that's the current SCI Handgun World's Record at 89-3/8).

    We may have been ever so slightly above the buck, but not by much. The buck's ears were exceptionally large - 7-5/8". However, the face, from the tear duct to the end of the nose, was really short for an antelope - 7-4/8".
