Results are in!
I posted a blog and details of the results and my guesstimate. Check it out.

I posted this on our Facebook page and thought some of you might get a kick out of giving it a guess.
"Here's a cool way to practice your Field Judging Technique. Click the link below and fill in your votes for each of the measurements on this buck. There are some photos and a video of the...
jims: Most of the Red Desert units are where we're seeing the trophy size decline. It seems as though the areas where the antelope may have refuge (areas that have more private ground and may have farm fields for the antelope to migrate into during drought times) are holding up pretty good. The...
I think the quality will always be there, however it may rise and fall in certain units making it difficult to know where to apply.
As for what we've experienced while hunting Wyoming:
In 2012 we killed 67% (8 out of 12) of our bucks over 85 B&C.
In 2013 and 2014 only 31% (12 out of 39) of our...
Of course I believe this theory (I believe I'm one who originally posted about it).
The theory wasn't born of much research, only observations over the course of 20 years of hunting and filming antelope.
It makes sense that bucks born who eat very little or nutritionally poor feed will...
Just so I'm clear on your assertion - are you saying that you believe weather and feed and water have no affect on pronghorn horn growth? Only that total numbers mean more total trophy antelope? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying.
BuzzH:
Total numbers doesn't explain the ratio difference. There were units last year where it was nearly impossible to find a record book head out of thousands of antelope bucks. Several years ago, in those same units, we found dozens of record book heads. The total population was probably...
Here are some for fun. All are from 2014 except the first one (2013).
A few of them are fairly deceiving while a few of them are pretty obvious.
86 B&C
90 B&C
88 6/8 B&C
85 6/8 B&C
89 2/8 B&C
92 B&C
89 4/8 B&C
90 4/8 B&C
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but you're probably going to fight crowds in any of the good units in Arizona. If you're trying to hunt for a trophy antelope (and I would hope you were after 21 years) you're going to be competing with everyone in the unit. A lot of hunters, because of...
He was about 86 or 87 in 2013.
He's over 90 this year. Mass, length, and prong are all better this season.
One thing that might be deceiving a little bit is that his entire head and body were smaller in 2013. He wasn't a fully grown antelope until this year. Now the body growth wasn't much...
I posted these pics on FB, but for those who don't follow my page I'll post them here as well. This is an awesome buck that we watched grow up from a little 2 year old (we presume) to a giant 4 year old. The leap from 2 to 3 is enormous, as it's usually the greatest leap in horn size for most...
I'd be cheating if I ranked them since I know what most of them score.
I'm a little surprised that three of you picked number 10 as that's one of the few bucks above that is still alive. Number 9 is alive as well. Number 5 I'm not sure about. The rest of them have been killed and the smallest...
