What is your favorite sheep caliber?
Used a heavy factory M70 in .270 Win for my Yukon Fannin. Jazzed up a M700 Ti in .270 Win for the next backpack sheep hunt I do. What's a Decent Spotter?
I'd look for a used Leica/Swarovski/Zeiss. My 2001 65mm Zeiss can still allow me to read the fine printing on my 100 yard targets. -

Colorado statewide sheep and goat raffle
I drew an S12 archery tag in 2007. I think I had 3+7 points. I left MI with my wife and two young kids and returned without a ram for the start of school in September. You aren't kidding. I was there 8/5-15. I called for a meat haul Suday morning and they could not get to me until Friday. I decided to come out with the meat a couple days early as to not miss the flight home. -
