I'm heading to Gila in a few weeks with a buddy who has never hunted before. I'd like him to have a set of binos, that way I've got another set of eyes and he feels like he's a part of the process. Looking at optics4rent.com but wonder if anyone has any experience with them. Any pros or cons? Considering a set of bushnells from Wal-mart, but open to suggestions.

I actually bought a set of his rental ELs off him. They were perfect and he was great to deal with.

I didn't even know that was possible. haha learn something new every day

Those 10x42 El's for $15 per day would be money well spent. Much better than a cheap binocular. It will cost you more money in the long run though because once you use good bino's you won't be satisfied with cheap bino's.

This is my exact concern. My buddy will certainly be carrying this Vortex set in this case.
