Yep, I’ve had a pair at least 10 years, 10-15s. Love them. They will be the last pair I ever get rid of. Sitka Apex vs Ascent Pants
I just got a pair of the Apex pants. They should fit right between the Ascent and the Mountain/Timberline. They have this grid pattern of fabric bumps on the inside that should allow good air circulation IMO. They do fit like the Ascent pants.- Steve O

Sitka Mountain Hauler 6200
I played with it at a couple shows this winter. It is heavy duty and I have no doubt it will handle a heavy load well, something previous Sitka backpacks did not do well. It is set up primarily to be a load hauler, not a do it all scrunch it down to tiny daypack stealth mode pack.- Steve O

You don’t really need anything more than 10x binos for elk. I would not pack the spotter. I always have a tripod and lately it is a Snipe Pod Granite Peak tripod.- Steve O
